How to Set Up Android Enterprise for MDM

Integrating SuperOps with Android Enterprise allows you to securely manage your organization's Android devices through your MDM console. By connecting your account, you can enforce device policies and manage work profiles, ensuring your company data remains secure. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up the connection.

Prerequisites

Before setup, the admin must:

  • Have a Google Workspace (business) or Gmail account that will act as the Android Enterprise owner.

  • Have admin access to SuperOps β†’ Settings β†’ MDM Configurations.

Setting up the Android Enterprise Integration

  1. To begin, navigate to Settings and then select MDM Configurations from the left-hand menu. Under the 'Setup Android devices' section, click Add Android Enterprise account.

  2. You will be redirected to Google's Android Enterprise portal.

    • If you already have a Google Admin account, login using this email address.

    • If not you can 'Create Admin Account' screen, by entering your work email address and click Next.

  3. On the 'Business details' page, enter your Domain name or Business name. The EMM provider field is automatically pre-filled by Google. Click Next to proceed.

  4. You will be asked to provide contact details for your Data Protection Officer and EU Representative. This information can be added later from the Admin Settings section of managed Google Play, so you may skip this step if not applicable.

  5. Once you have completed the required steps, the setup process is finished. Click Complete Registration to finalize the connection.

Configuration complete

After clicking 'Complete Registration', you will be redirected back to SuperOps. The connection status will update to 'Connected', and you will see your organization's name and the linked account details. Your SuperOps account is now successfully linked to Android Enterprise.
