Android Zero-touch enrollment allows you to configure and manage corporate-owned Android devices for a quick, hands-free setup. This process enables devices to be provisioned with your company's policies and apps right out of the box. This guide will walk you through generating the necessary configuration in SuperOps and applying it in your Android Zero-touch portal.
Note : Only corporate-owned devices can be enrolled through the Android Zero-touch enrollment method
Prerequisites
You will need to connect your Android enterprise account to SuperOps. Please find the full help article here
Generating the Configuration in SuperOps
First, navigate to the MDM Configurations page. You can find this by going to Settings > MDM Configurations. The page will open to the Android tab, where you'll find the settings for Android Zero-touch Enrollment.
Select the appropriate Site and Department for the devices you are enrolling from the dropdown menus. For example, you might choose 'Michigan' as the site and 'Admin' as the department.
Once the Site and Department are selected, click the Generate JSON button. A JSON configuration code will be created in the text box below. Copy this entire code, as you will need it for the next steps.
Applying the Configuration in the Android Zero-touch Portal
Log in to your organization's Android Zero-touch portal and create a new configuration. In the configuration settings, ensure 'Superops' is selected as the EMM DPC from the drop down. Then, paste the JSON code you copied from SuperOps into the DPC extras field.
Finally, assign this new configuration to your devices within the portal. You can select the configuration for specific devices to apply the enrollment settings.
Configuration complete
Once the configuration is assigned, any new device associated with it will automatically enroll into SuperOps MDM upon its initial setup, ensuring it's secure and compliant with your company's policies from the start. You will find these devices under the "All Assets" page where you can filter out based on "Asset class"
