SuperOps lets you group your devices according to your preferences based on filter conditions, making it easier to monitor and manage them within the platform.

📝Note: Asset Grouping is exclusive only for accounts that have set up Group-based policies.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to Modules > Assets > Asset Groups.

  2. Click on the "+" icon, as shown below. You will be directed to the New Asset Group page.

3. Provide a name for the asset group and select the type of asset you wish to categorize within this group.

4. Set up filter conditions by clicking on the "+ conditions" button.

📝Note: SuperOps supports the below properties as filter conditions to create a new asset group:

  • Assets fields

  • Asset class fields

  • Client fields

  • Site fields

  • CPU and Memory fields.

5. You can also associate this asset group with existing policy sets in SuperOps.

6. Once you've configured the conditions, hit save to successfully create the asset group.

7. In the created group, you can view the list of assets that meet the specified filter conditions.

8. You can also edit or delete Asset groups by clicking on the edit icon, as shown below.
