Set up technician/requester login, session timeouts and, IP restrictions

Security Management

Our security settings at SuperOps are in place, ensuring a secure ecosystem for your technicians’ and clients’ data. This section helps you:

  1. Set password policies for technician and client logins

  2. Mark session timeouts for remembering user passwords and

  3. Add restricted IPs to prevent unauthorized logins

Technician Logins

To setup technician logins:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Security Management > Technician Login

2. On the ‘Technician Login’ page, choose how you want your technicians to log in to SuperOps:

  • By Password

  • Single sign-on (SSO)

💡 SuperTip:
You can define your own password policy by choosing ‘Custom’.

3. Toggle ‘ON’ to enable TFA for technician login.

4. Click ‘Save’.

Requester Logins

To setup requester logins:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Security Management > Requester Login

2. Select password strength by choosing between levels (High, Medium, and Low) with predefined conditions.

💡 SuperTip:
Choose ‘Custom’ for setting your own password strength policy.

3. Click ‘Save’

Session Timeouts

1. Navigate to Settings > Security Management > Session Settings.

2. Under ‘Session Expiry’, specify how long you want the user session to stay active.

3. Toggle ‘ON’ if you want SuperOps to trust user logins for the next 30 days.

IP restrictions

To set up IP restrictions:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Security Management > IP Restrictions

2. Toggle ‘ON’ to enable IP restrictions. and specify IP Ranges for technician logins.

3. Click ‘Save’ when you're done.
