Script Overview
Updated over a week ago

The script overview provides a view of all scripts initiated by you via SuperOps. This includes ad hoc scripts, scheduled actions (via policy), remediation scripts (as an action to an alert), and scripts executed by end-users via system tray.

With the script overview, you can track and manage your scripts from one place, see which scripts have failed, and take action to fix errors.

The script overview displays the following information:

  1. Name of the executed script. Clicking on the script will open the script editor in a new tab.

  2. Script status (In progress, Success, Failure)

  3. See if the script was initiated by policy or initiated ad hoc by a technician. You will also be able to see the policy name or technician name here, as applicable.

  4. The time at which each script was initiated.

  5. Asset and client information for each script. Clicking on the asset will take you to the asset details page.

Failed scripts

Use the filter options (top right) to filter scripts by status (In progress, Success, Failure) and by time.

If you see a failed script and want to see why it failed, click on the Script Output button.

Click on a script that you want to fix to open the script editor. Make edits to the code as needed to fix errors.

Hit Run Again to re-run a script right away and see if it runs successfully after you made necessary edits.
