SuperOps MDM allows you to manage macOS devices efficiently using a secure and scalable enrollment process. There are two ways to enroll macOS devices in SuperOps MDM: manual enrollment and automated device enrollment (ADE).
This guide walks you through manual enrollment for Mac devices, which is ideal for small scale or ad hoc deployments.
Note: SuperOps uses a hybrid approach to manage Mac devices. As part of this model, both Apple MDM and the SuperOps RMM agent work together to provide management and control. Once a Mac is enrolled through MDM, the SuperOps RMM agent is automatically installed on the device.

Prerequisites
Before enrolling any Mac devices, ensure that the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) certificate is configured in SuperOps. This article explains how you can set up APN certificate.
Getting started with manual enrollment
Follow the steps below to manually enroll a Mac device into SuperOps MDM. To get started, navigate to Settings->MDM configurations
Step 1: Start the Enrollment flow
Select Mac as the device.
Choose the requestor, department and site associated with the device.
Step 2: Generate profile file
Click Generate Profile file.
A profile file will be displayed.
You can download the profile file or send an email to the user.
Instructions for the end-user
To complete the enrollment process, the Mac user must manually review the settings and approve the enrollment profile. When the enrollment profile is downloaded to the Mac, a system prompt appears on the screen. Click OK to proceed.
This should take you to the system settings. If not, please follow the instructions below.
Open System Settings on the Mac.
Go to General.
Click Device Management.
Under Downloaded, locate the Enrollment Profile.
The status will show Profile not installed.
Double click the profile to review the details.
Review the enrollment information displayed on screen, including the MDM vendor and permissions.
Click Enroll to continue.
When prompted, enter your Mac password.
Click Enroll to approve the device management request.
Once the installation is complete, the enrollment profile will be installed successfully and the Mac will be enrolled in SuperOps MDM. The device will now be visible under Asset Management in the SuperOps console.
