SuperOps MDM allows you to manage your Apple devices efficiently. This guide walks you through the process of manually enrolling an iPhone or iPad, which is ideal for small-scale or ad-hoc deployments.

Prerequisities

Before you start enrollment, ensure that the APN certificate is configured with SuperOps.

Understanding enrollment methods and device supervision

SuperOps MDM provides two primary methods for enrolling Apple devices:

  • Manual Enrollment (Unsupervised): Best for individual devices or small deployments. Devices are enrolled using a QR code and are considered unsupervised by Apple, offering basic management capabilities.

  • Automated Device Enrollment (ADE - Supervised): Integrates with Apple Business Manager (ABM) for zero-touch deployment. These devices are supervised, enabling full management control, advanced policies, and remote actions such as Lock, Wipe, and Lost Mode.

This article focuses on the Manual Enrollment process.
