SuperOps allows you to efficiently manage your organisation's mobile devices, including iOS, iPadOS, and Android assets. From a centralized dashboard, you can view detailed device information, perform remote commands, manage applications, and enforce security policies to ensure all devices are secure and compliant.
Working with Mobile asset view
Navigate to the Assets module from the main menu. In the left-hand navigation pane under ASSET VIEWS, you can see the default views. Select an existing view such as Android, Apple IOS, or Apple iPadOs to see the standard layout.
Create custom views : To create a new custom view, click the plus icon (+) next to the ASSET VIEWS heading.
On the Create asset view page, configure the details for your new view. For this example, we will create a view for Android devices at a specific site:
Asset view name: Enter a descriptive name, such as 'Android devices'.
Asset types: Select 'Android' from the dropdown menu.
Shared View: Check this box if you want other technicians to be able to access this view.
Next, define a filter condition to control which assets are displayed. Click + Conditions to add a rule. For example, you can filter devices from specific Sites.Once you have configured the view and its filter conditions, click Save in the top-right corner.
Customizing view columns
After creating your view, you can customize which information is displayed in the asset table.
Click the Columns button located at the top of the asset list.
In the 'Configure columns' panel that appears on the right, check the boxes for the data fields you want to display. In this example, 'Host name' and 'Requester name' are added to the view.
Click Done to save your column preferences. The asset table will update to show the newly selected columns, giving you a customized view of your devices.
Accessing and managing a mobile device
When you click on the device, you will land on the asset's detail page, which opens to the SUMMARY tab by default. Here, you can review key information at a glance, including battery percentage, internal storage usage, OS details, and a log of recent actions performed on the device.
From this screen, you can perform immediate actions such as Clear Passcode or Lock the screen. For more options, click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner. This will open a dropdown menu with additional commands such as Erase Device, Restart, and Shut Down.
To view all applications installed on the device, click the APPS tab. This section provides a comprehensive list of apps, along with their bundle ID, version, and update status. You can also view the list of Apps Managed by SuperOps under "Managed Apps" section
To review the configuration policies applied to the device, navigate to the Policy tab. This area displays all the restrictions and settings enforced on the device, helping you ensure it complies with your security standards.
