Inventory Management in SuperOps gives Managed Service Providers a centralized system to track physical stock, manage multiple warehouse locations and storage bins, issue purchase orders to suppliers, and fulfill customer equipment requests from tickets and sales orders.
How the inventory workflow works
Inventory requests can originate from a ticket, project, or sales order.
Ticket / Project / Sales Order → Inventory Request → Fulfill from available stock
If there isn’t enough stock to meet the request, the required items move through procurement:
Inventory Request → Procurement Queue → Purchase Order → Receive Stock → Fulfill Request
This connects service delivery, stock management, and procurement in a single workflow, so teams can fulfill requests from available inventory or procure what they need when stock is unavailable.
Before you begin
Before team members can create purchase orders or allocate stock, assign the appropriate inventory permissions to their technician profile.
You can configure inventory permissions from Settings > Roles and Groups > Technician Roles
2. Assign the appropriate permissions to the technician role, then map that role to the required technicians under Settings > Technicians
For teams responsible for inventory and procurement, you can assign the Inventory Manager role where applicable.
