Time and Material Contracts are for services that you want to provide to clients at a different/discounted price. Adding such services to this contract rather than to the recurring services contract ensures your costs aren't calculated as recurring, in which case they can skew profitability calculations.
This article explains how to create Time and Material contracts and manage billing in SuperOps for smooth service delivery and accurate invoicing.
To create a Time and Material contract,
Go to Modules > Clients.
Select the client for whom you want to create a Time and Material contract.
Click the +Time and Material Contract button.
4. Give a name and description to clarify the contract details.
5. Add the start and end dates for the contract. Additionally, you can set a reminder to notify you via email before the contract expires.
6. Now, specify the conditions under which the contract applies to tickets. Conditions can be based on delivery map groups or specific ticket properties.
7. Link one or more Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to the contract to ensure consistent service delivery standards.
8. If necessary, you can override pricing by discount, amount, or flat rate or provide the same based on a condition.
9. Next, define which hour-based services should be auto-approved. Hours logged for these services will bypass the auditing process.
10. Finally, specify services or products excluded from the contract. These items will not appear on tickets for worklogs or product additions.
Once you are done review the entire contract to ensure all details are accurate and hit save. The Time and Material contract is now ready!
