Updated yesterday

Cybersecurity has emerged as a foremost concern for organizations of all scales in the contemporary digital era. With cyber threats evolving rapidly—from sophisticated ransomware attacks to relentless phishing schemes—organizations must prioritize the protection of their sensitive data and critical systems.

Recognizing this urgent need for integrated solutions, SuperOps and Sophos have integrated to empower MSPs with the tools necessary to enhance their cybersecurity offerings while streamlining IT management processes.

What is Sophos

Sophos is a worldwide leader and innovator of advanced cybersecurity solutions, including Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and incident response services and a broad portfolio of endpoint, network, email, and cloud security technologies that help organizations defeat cyberattacks.

SuperOps and Sophos

With this integration, we currently support Sophos Central, their cloud-based cybersecurity management platform and the following actions can be performed:

  • Syncing clients from Sophos into SuperOps. Suggest matches based on names to SuperOps clients and create clients in Sophos from SuperOps.

  • Install Sophos product in all of their assets

  • Show the latest status of the av

  • Run quick actions like scan and update

How you can set it up

  • Click the settings icon on the pane to the left. On the settings page, scroll down to the bottom, and select marketplace.

  • On the marketplace page, you’ll find a list of available tools that you can integrate within SuperOps. You’ll find Sophos under the cybersecurity section. Click Integrate to start the configuration process.

  • Before you get started, please make sure that you have an active Sophos account

  • Log into the Sophos Partner Portal and fetch the Client ID and the Client Secret.

  • Copy paste the Client ID and the Client Secret in the Sophos configuration page within SuperOps and click on Connect.

  • Congratulations! You have successfully configured the integration!

  • Next, you need to map the clients from SuperOps to Sophos. Click on Map Clients. You can chose which SuperOps clients you would like to map to existing tenants in Sophos using the drop down list.

  • If you don’t want to map a SuperOps client to a Sophos company, click the Ignore box to the right of that particular client.

  • Once you have completed matching your clients, click on Import to begin your importing process. We will actively show the progress of this import process in the form of a status report. From the status report, you can see the number of clients created, imported, ignored, and any errors that occurred during the mapping process.

    • Scan

    • Remediate Endpoint

  • These actions are also available in the Actions drop-down in the top right corner of the Asset summary page.
