What is an agent?

The SuperOps agent is a small software package installed on your devices, such as laptops and workstations, to gather a range of different metrics to gauge the device’s health and transmit it back to your managed service provider. Your MSP can also perform a variety of actions through this agent remotely on your devices to troubleshoot them and keep them running smoothly.

Devices with these agents installed can also be converted into probes that can be used to monitor network devices that do not support agent installation, such as printers, routers, switches, etc.
