  1. How do I install the agent via GPO or Microsoft Intune?

  2. What versions of Windows does the SuperOps.ai agent support?

    The SuperOps.ai agent supports the following versions of Windows:

    Windows 8.1 and newer

    Windows 2012 R2 and newer

  4. While trying to remote in with Splashtop, it takes me to a blank page. How do I troubleshoot this?

    Ensure that Splashtop Viewer is installed on your asset. Only Splshtop Streamer will be installed as a package while downloading the agent.

  5. Splashtop is offline even when the asset is online. How do I restart Splashtop from a remote?

    In this instance, Splashtop is unable to connect to the server. Once you restart ‘SplashtopRemoteService', it will work fine.

  6. How do I set up alerts?

    Go to Settings > Asset Management > Policy Management > Mac/Windows Policies > Alert Management and hit the “+ new policy” button to set up new alerts.

  7. How do I check if AV is installed or not?

    You can verify if any AV is installed in an asset in two ways:

    Go to the Asset Summary page, and you’ll find an AV card, in which the AV will be listed if it is installed in that asset.

    Go to Software Inventory Report > Filter AV Names and check the list of all assets that have an AV installed.

  8. How do I override pre-existing policies?

    Hierarchical policies can be overridden at the client, site, and asset levels. To do that:

    Go to Settings > Policy management > Select a policy > Choose the client/site/asset you want to override the policy for > Select a policy, edit, and save.

  9. What happens if I have the same asset under two different group policies?

    Both policies get applied to the asset, except for patching. For patching, only the most recent policy gets applied (which shows up as an indication in the UI).

  10. Do the patches I schedule to run in my time zone or the client asset’s time zone?

    The patch schedules you set to run in the time zone of the site that the asset is part of inside SuperOps.ai.

  11. How do I test patches on my assets before deploying them to clients’ assets?

    You can defer patch deployment for a set period and test the patches on your assets before deploying them on your client's assets. You’ll find the option to defer patch deployment below the priority matrix in the patch management module. You can also create test groups (say, with your old assets), and test your patches on them before actual deployment. These options are available for both hierarchical and group-based policies.

  12. Does Splashtop Viewer get installed automatically when I install the SuperOps.ai agent, or should I install it separately?

    While Splashtop is installed along with the SuperOps.ai agent, you need to install Splashtop Viewer separately.

  13. Does SuperOps.ai have data backup and recovery integration?

    Yes, SuperOps.ai is integrated with Acronis, which backs up and protects client data against data loss and cyber threats. We’re also an Acronis reseller; you can buy an Acronis license from us if you choose to.

  14. Is there a way to get asset-wise software installation reports?

    Yes, you can. Go to Modules > Assets > Choose Asset > Apps > Software. You can also download the software inventory report per client as a PDF.

  15. Can I install proprietary software on my client assets without using Chocolatey?

    Yes, you can, through Scripts. Go to Create > Scripts > Community > Type “Install” in the search bar > Choose the ‘Silently Install Any Software from MSI’ script.

  16. How do I run reports?

    You can navigate to Modules > Reports, where you will be able to generate Dashboards. You will find several default dashboards in the Reports module. Apart from that, you will also be able to create custom dashboards based on your requirements.

  17. Is there some way to include NinjaRMM alerts in SuperOps?

    You can have the alerts forwarded to SuperOps.ai and have them created as a ticket.

  18. Does SuperOps.ai support Splashtop SOS?

    Yes, SuperOps.ai supports Splashtop SOS. Check out this article to learn more.

  19. Do I need to update my SuperOps.ai account password?

    SuperOps.ai will ask you to update password 90 days after sign up. Once you have made the change, you can set the cadence to your preference for a password rest. To set this go to Settings > Technician Login > Technician Password Policy > Custom. Set the "Password expiry after" field to the number of days of your choice and click Save.
